Such a hidden gem! I drive by this place FOUR times a day and somehow never knew it was here. I’m writing this review partly because they deserve way more visibility! I’d never had Sri Lankan food before, and their website was incredibly helpful in explaining the dishes and what to expect. I called in my order, and the gentleman who answered was so helpful. When I mentioned I was a little worried about the spice level, he even offered to tone down the chicken by adding coconut milk, which turned out to be perfect. The couple working when I picked up my food were incredibly sweet and *genuinely* appreciative of my business. And the amount of food I got was insane! My plate felt like it weighed 10 pounds. For the price, it was an incredible value and easily enough for a couple of meals. Most importantly, everything was SO fresh and flavorful. Sweet, salty, crunchy, creamy… it had everything. Such a great first experience with Sri Lankan food. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend giving this little place a try. If you’ve driven by it a hundred times like I have, STOP NEXT TIME! 😂

Yep, this is it. Remember that authentic kottu flavor you were missing from Sri Lanka and feared you’d never find in the USA? It’s here. Don’t let the size of the shop fool you. It’s got the real Sri Lankan taste, and a lot of it. I have no words to describe the taste of the food, all of it from kottu to lampraise and the dessert. The proprietor is a very nice person and will do his best to satisfy your food cravings. Give the place a try, it’ll be the best money you spent on food for a while.

Finding a Sri Lankan restaurant is not a very easy thing to do in Houston so I was shocked to see one in Magnolia of all places. This is not the place to go if you want atmosphere as it is in a gas station but if you want some good, authentic Sri Lankan food then give this place a try. The guy cooking (not sure if he is the owner) was very nice, cooks the food right in front of you and wanted to make sure we enjoyed out food. My wife is from Sri Lanka so we know whether is the the real deal or not and this place is legit. Prices are fair, portion size was good, and taste was great. Can't wait to go back and try other items.

Authentic Sri Lankan food….taste so amazing! As a person from a Sri Lankan ethnicity and who’s also married to a Sri Lankan, we are so happy that there’s a Sri Lankan restaurant close to home (The Woodland/Spring). Chef and Owner Mr. Sarath is such a warm, friendly, welcoming person. His food is just too good. Just be mindful that their location is inside the gas station. We typically place orders to go but sit and have the Sri Lankan Hoppers while it’s made fresh, on the spot.

The owners are incredibly sweet and welcoming, which makes the whole experience feel warm right away. Everything is cooked fresh to order, so if you’re in a hurry it’s best to call ahead — but the wait is totally worth it! The food is absolutely delicious, full of bold flavors, and you can even choose your spice level 🌶️. The Lampraise was AMAZING with a huge portion, the fried rice with fried chicken was super tasty, and the Godamba Roti tasted homemade, fresh, and perfectly soft. Definitely a must-try spot if you love fresh, flavorful food!
